These super easy to make and delicious Chicken Meatballs can be prepared in the air fryer, oven or in a skillet.

If I had to define the flavor profile, I'd say these are more of a Greek inspired Chicken Meatball over a traditional Italian meatball.

However, feel free to change up the oregano to a dry Italian seasoning and boom, Italian Chicken Meatballs!

These little meatballs are great for lunch meal preps, as you can see they make a great meal bowl when paired with rice and veggies. Tomatoes would be a great addition to the bowl too.

You get about six meatballs per serving and each serving has only 200 calories and pack in 22 grams of protein!

TIP: I like to serve these Greek-ish meatballs with either a Tzatziki Dip or a creamy garlic spread (I love the Trader Joe's Garlic Spread). You could also try topping with a brown gravy or tomato based sauce if you'd prefer.

You know I love a good air fryer recipe like my Air Fryer Boneless Chicken Thighs, Air Fryer Boursin Appetizer and Air Fryer Italian Sausage. so I prepare these meatballs in the air fryer but the recipe card will include options for the oven or a skillet as well.

    🍲Ingredients

The beauty of these little meatballs is how simple they are and the simple ingredients required. See recipe card for quantities.

    • Chicken - ground, 82% Lean
    • Seasonings - salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper, oregano and garlic powder
    • Binders - panko crumb and egg
A small glass ramekin is at the forefront with all the seasonings inside. In the background is a package of ground chicken, an egg and a measuring cup with panko.

If you want to add more Greek inspiration to the meatballs, feel free to add mint and feta to the meatballs.

If you're wanting a dairy-free Tzatziki to top the meatballs with, try this recipe for Vegan Tzatziki Sauce.

    🥘Serving suggestions

I like to eat these chicken meatballs with some kind of greens. If you are into Greek salads, you've got to try serving them alongside this copycat Panera Greek Salad.

Other than Greek Salad, here are some other great ways to serve meatballs.

Meatball Bowls - rice, veggies and sauce (tzatziki or garlic spread) as pictured above

Salad - greens, meatballs and creamy dressing

Appetizer - skewered with a dip on side

Soup - Drop into a soup base like my Instant Pot Meatball Soup.

Pasta - atop creamy orzo, in a tomato sauce or even mixed into a mac and cheese type pasta.

    • Cosori Air Fryer - super quiet compared to the older models and a good size.
    • Ninja Possible Pan - non-stick, large, comes in fun colors and has many uses
    • OXO Silicone Tipped Tongs - I have at least 4 sizes of these. Grips well and dishwasher safe.
