These 3 Easy Compound Butter Recipes for the Holiday Season will be sure to impress your guests; no need to tell them how easy it is to make compound butters.
I approach my holiday meal prep in the same way I approach my every day meal planning. That is, I plan for about 90% homemade and what isn't homemade, no one ever knows.

One of my best examples of what I'm talking about is my Shortcut Sausage & Cranberry Stuffing. I use a lot of my own ingredients but the base of the recipe is boxed or bagged stuffing mix. Nobody ever knows and it saves me all the time of cubing and toasting the bread cubes.
Most recently, however, I'm realizing that the number one thing that takes up most of my time for the holidays has always been making homemade rolls.
So, this year I'm turning to frozen rolls.
Some of the frozen rolls are out there are actually quite good.
Nobody will know. Unless you tell them. That's up to you - but don't go ratting me out!
Anyway, so back to this 90/10 homemade ratio. If I'm not taking the time to craft homemade bread, it leaves me plenty of time to give them the homemade touch of compound butter(s).
I think a common misconception is that compound butters are difficult or time consuming. Totally wrong!
How Long To Prepare?
Minutes!
I made all three of these holiday compound butters in under a half hour. Most of the time was wiping out the bowl in between batches. And actually, you don't even have to wipe out in between making the Honey Butter and the Cranberry Butter because if they mix it's fine. The Cranberry Butter contains all the ingredients in the Honey Butter. See, I'm all about saving time.
