Easy On The Go Halloween Trifle - The ultimate on the go Halloween treat to wow the kids. With only 4 ingredients it will be Mom's favorite to make (and eat).

    Easy To Go Halloween Trifle

You know that mom?  The one who is always posting those obnoxious photos of the so called cute food she has made for her kids?  You know what I mean, the sandwiches cut into funky shapes or the food coloring she has used to make it look, well, anything like the boring old turkey sandwich that it actually is.  You know how obnoxious that is, right?  Well, I have a confession to make. Don't be angry. That's totally me.

I know it's annoying.  I can't help it.  I'm sorry (no I'm not). It all started when my son refused to eat, basically any kind of sandwich as a toddler.  He asked me to make it look like a skeleton and well, like a dope, I did.  I did wacky things like this for years.  And honestly, I'll admit,  I kind of enjoyed it.  While you think it's crazy; seeing those eyes light up when they were discovering what wacky treat Mom has made today, it was priceless. Well, a few years later and another kid later, doing these ridiculous things has turned out to be a bit harder.

Easy On The Go Halloween Trifle

Don't get me wrong, I'm still making super cute things for them to eat, but I'm making it easier on myself.  I no longer have the time to carve a sandwich into 42 pieces to make a skeleton.  In fact, I only save the cute stuff for snack time now.  With the kids having soccer practice, soccer skills practice, dance practice, CCD, we are running around like crazy most days and the kids are eating their snacks in the car.  I don't want to sacrifice the cuteness, after all, the kids still think I'm awesome when I do it.  I know I don't have much longer until it's no longer cool to idolize your Mom.

Something the kids love to snack on, on the go, are Nabisco Go-Paks!  So I decided to pick up a bunch of them at Walmart (I mean they're only a buck a piece!) and make a special Halloween treat.    While I was there I grabbed some Snack Pack® puddings and what treat would be complete without some Reddi-Wip, am I right?  I wasn't worried about it leaking in my car because the G0-Paks! are plastic and won't leak, making them perfect for on the go.  Plus, the Go-Paks! have plenty of room in them for adding in yummy mixers.

    Easy To Go Halloween Trifle

With only a little time between school getting out and soccer practice starting, I was able to quickly put these treats together.  I started by removing just over half of the cookies, placing a layer of the pudding on top of the remaining cookies, then a layer of Reddi-Wip and then I repeated.  I saved about 10 of the cookies out of the Go-Paks! and crushed them quickly to make them resemble dirt and then topped it with some cute Halloween candy I found, also at Walmart.  It basically turned out to be like a mini trifle or mini dirt cake.  The best part was that I could make a few different ones all at once.  Just by changing up the flavor of the Go-Paks!, I created totally different treats.  The kids couldn't believe their eyes.  Once again, I was the "coolest Mom ever".

And don't get me wrong, these snacks are not just for kids.  While the kids were playing in the backyard, Mom got to enjoy a little something too!

    Easy To Go Halloween Trifle

Once I finished my Halloween trifles, I realized the possibilities are really endless.  I wonder what I'll be making for Christmas treats on the go? Hmmmmm...

    Prep Time 5 minutes mins
    Total Time 5 minutes mins
    Servings 4

    Ingredients

    • 2 NABISCO Go-Paks! OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
    • 2 NABISCO Go-Paks! NUTTER BUTTER Bites Sandwich Cookies
    • 1 - 4 pack Snack Pack® Pudding Cups - Chocolate
    • Reddi-Wip®
    • Assorted Halloween Gummy Candies

    Instructions

    For Each Trifle

    • Remove 10 cookies, set aside (to be used for topping).
    • Remove half of the remaining cookies. Top the cookies still in the G0-Paks! With half of the pudding and then with a layer of Reddi-Wip®. Repeat layer 1 one more time.
    • Place the 10 remaining cookies in a plastic bag and crush, either with your hands or a mallet/rolling pin. Sprinkle crumbs over the top of trifle to create a "dirt" effect. Add your gummy embellishments to top.

    For OREO eye balls topping

    • Open 2 OREOS and place the gummy eyes right on the halves with the filling. The OREO filling will act as the "glue" to hold them together.

This is awesome! I love the cute eyeballs to go with it. This was by far one of my favorites as a kid at Halloween with the gummy worms and Oreos. Oreos are pretty much a staple at our house so I will have to give this a shot for my nephews.

What a fun way to 'scare' the little ones. I love seeing eyes poking out of desserts. This looks so yummy.
