You already know that the Instant Pot is great for things like Taco Pasta, Country Style Ribs, Soups and Meatballs, but did you know how easy it was to make corn in it too?
Don't hold it against me that not that long ago I swore that oven roasting was my favorite method for preparing corn. I swear, it was. IT WAS.
I'm not totally back-pedaling, oven roasting does bring out a certain sweetness that I don't think can be achieved using other methods. However, fresh corn grows in the summer. Summer is hot. See where I'm going with this? I don't want to heat up my house for a few ears of corn if I don't have to.
I've played around with cooking times and settings and what I'm going to tell you is the method I've had the most luck with. Keep in mind, other models might be a tad bit different. You might like your corn a bit firmer or softer than I like mine.
One other thing I should mention is that my kids are super picky. I mean one doesn't even want butter on her corn. The rest of us go simple with butter and a sprinkle of sea salt. But, if you want to infuse flavor right into your corn, you can mix seasonings and butter right into the water prior to cooking.
How to make the Instant Pot Corn on The Cob:
