Asian Steak Tips

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb steak tips
  • ¼ C soy sauce
  • ¼ C white wine vinegar
  • ½ C oil canola, vegetable etc
  • 2 T honey
  • 2-3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 T ginger paste
  • teaspoon white pepper
  • 3 scallions sliced (2 for marinade and 1 for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy, vinegar, oil, honey, garlic, ginger, white pepper and 2 of the scallions.
  • Add steak tips to re-sealable bag, pour marinade over tips. Seal the bag and move around to make sure all the beef is covered. Refrigerate and let marinate a minimum of 4 hours. 6-8 hours would be optimal.
  • Preheat grill to medium high heat.
  • Add marinated tips, discarding remaining marinade. Cook about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  • Garnish with remaining scallions.
