Creamy Tortellini Casserole

Ingredients

  • 20 oz refrigerated chicken tortellini or any flavor
  • 4 C broccoli florets
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 23 oz marinara sauce
  • 1.5 C mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook 4 minutes (it will cook more in the oven). Add broccoli to pot with tortellini and turn off heat. Allow to stand 2 minutes. Drain.
  • While tortellini is cooking stir together softened cream cheese and marinara.
  • Spread about ½ C of sauce mixture on bottom of a 2Q casserole dish. Pour in tortellini and broccoli mixture and then pour remaining sauce over tortellini. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top and bake 20 minutes.
  • Top with toasted breadcrumbs if desired.
