  • ¾ cup milk choice of milk, I used skim
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup more if you desire a sweeter outcome
  • 1 pinch coarse sea salt
  • ice

Instructions

  • Place maple syrup and pinch of sea salt in a mug or espresso cup. Brew espresso into the same mug.
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup, 1 pinch coarse sea salt
  • Pour milk of choice into large tumbler or iced coffee cup. Pour the espresso over the milk. Fill the cup with ice.
2 ounces prepared espresso, ¾ cup milk, ice
  • Avoid using thin plastic cups or regular glassware, as hot espresso can melt plastic or cause glass to crack. Use a heat-safe tumbler designed for both hot and cold beverages.
  • If desired, top with whipped cream. You can also drizzle a little more maple syrup and/or add another pinch of salt to garnish the whipped cream.

Notes

Nutritional facts have been calculated using skim milk. If you use a milk other than skim milk, you will have a different nutritional value.
