Meatloaf Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meatloaf mix beef, veal, pork
  • ½ C bread crumbs seasoned
  • ½ onion cut in a small dice
  • 1 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ t chili powder
  • ½ t paprika
  • ½ t kosher salt
  • t freshly cracked blacked pepper
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 4 hamburger rolls

Instructions

  • In a large bowl place breadcrumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, egg, chili powder, paprika, kosher salt and black pepper in a bowl. Combine with fork. Add meat and mix well with your hands until just combined.
  • Divide mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties.
  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Heat oil over medium/high heat in a large oven proof skillet.
  • Add burgers to pan and brown on one side (about 4 minutes).
  • Flip burgers over and place pan in preheated oven. Continue to cook until burgers are done to your liking (about 6-8 minutes for medium).
  • Check for doneness with an instant read thermometer.
