Place peppercorns in a plastic re-sealable bag and crush with a mallet.
Combine crushed peppercorns with coffee and salt in a small bowl.
Drizzle each side of steak with 1 teaspoon of oil and rub the coffee mixture on both sides of steak. Allow to rest on counter at room temperature about 15-20 minutes.
While meat is coming to temperature, preheat your grill to high heat.
Place steak on grill and cook about 4-6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature is 135 (or to your preference). Set on a plate to rest 5-10 minutes.
Slice steak against the grain on the bias.
