- 2 Ribeye Steak boneless, 8 oz each steak
- 1 Tablespoon Avocado oil or other high smoke point oil
- 1 Teaspoon Kosher salt
- ½ Teaspoon Black pepper or rainbow peppercorn
- ¼ Teaspoon Garlic powder
Allow steaks to come to room temperature. About 30 minutes outside of refrigerator.
Preheat air fryer for five minutes at 400 °F
Dry steak surface with paper towel. Rub both sides of steaks with oi.
Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Massage the seasonings on to the meat to ensure adherence.
Place in air fryer basket. You will flip meat with tongs, halfway through cook time. Cook times are:6 to 8 minutes for medium-rare8 to 10 minutes for medium10 to 12 minutes for medium to medium-rare Remove steak from air fryer and allow to rest for just a few minutes before cutting/serving.
- Cooking times may vary depending on brand of air fryer and also the thickness of steaks. Adjust accordingly.
- Slice steaks against the grain.
