Apple Dessert Pops

chocolate melting wafers

Instructions
Use a melon baller to ball out the apple.
Insert a stick into the top of the rounded part of the apple "ball".
Place chocolate in a bowl and melt in microwave, 50% power for 1 minute. Stir. Repeat in 30 second intervals until chocolate is smooth.
Dip each "ball" into the chocolate. Place on parchment paper. Pop in the refrigerator for a few minutes to speed up the hardening process if desired.
Drizzle dulce de leche over hardened chocolate.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
Notes
If chocolate melting wafers are no available, combine 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips with 2 teaspoon coconut oil for the same effect.
