Meatballs
- 20 oz ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 2 green onions chopped
- 1 ½ teaspoon ginger paste
- 2 garlic gloves minced
- ½ C breadcrumbs plain
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
Glaze
- ⅓ C soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 T sriracha
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- ½ teaspoon pure sesame oil
- 1 T lime juice freshly squeezed
Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl combine all the meatball ingredients by hand. Be sure not to overmix. Shape into balls. Place balls on a parchment, foil or silicone baking mat lined baking sheet.
Bake meatballs 20 minutes. Remove meatballs from oven and increase the heat on the oven to 450.
While meatballs are cooking prepare the glaze by placing all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium/high heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and stir often. Cook about 5 minutes. Set aside.
When meatballs are done cooking, using a spoon, dip each meatball into the glaze to coat completely. Place coated meatballs back on lined baking sheet.
Place coated meatballs back in oven for 5-7 minutes until glaze is shiny and set.
Serve meatballs over rice.
