Baileys Irish Cream Brownies

A boxed brownie mix is taken to a new level by adding irish cream to both the batter and an easy ganache topping. Great for all holidays not just St. Patrick's Day.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix + Ingredients called for on box
  • ΒΌ Cup Baileys Irish Cream

Ganache

  • 1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • β…“ Cup heavy cream
  • β…“ Cup Baileys Irish Cream

Instructions

  • Prepare brownies according to package instructions except replace the water called for with Baileys. Bake as instructed and allow to cool completely.
  • Place chocolate chips in a bowl.
  • Place heavy cream and Baileys in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring just to a boil and then pour over chocolate chips. Do not stir right away. Wait 3-5 minutes and then stir the chip mixture until smooth. Pour/spread mixture over cooled brownies. Allow ganache to cool at room temperature before slicing.

Notes

Nutritional information will need to be figured out with the addition of the amount of egg and oil your brownie mix calls for. The 110 calories does not account for those ingredients since it varies per brownie variety.
