Cherry Chipotle Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken
Pulled chicken is easy and versatile when made in the slow cooker. Just add everything to the crockpot, then shred and serve.

- 2 Pounds boneless chicken breast
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- ½ Teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked
- ½ Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Cup Cherry flavored soda
- 1 Cup chipotle BBQ sauce
Ingredients For Use In Sandwiches
- brioche rolls or preferred rolls
- 1 avocado sliced
Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray or line with a liner.
Season chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place in the slow cooker. Pour 7UP over chicken. Cover and cook 4-6 hours on low.
Remove chicken from slow cooker and place on cutting board or dish. Using a slotted spoon, remove any visible fat that might remain in slow cooker. Shred chicken and place back in cooker.
Stir BBQ sauce into chicken. Replace cover and cook 30 minutes on low.
For Use In Sandwich
Preheat oven to 450.
Place opened brioche rolls, cut side up on baking sheet and toast in heated oven 5 minutes or just until toasted.
Place shredded chicken on rolls and top with avocado and/or preferred sandwich toppings.
