Garlicky Cheese Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 String Cheese Sticks cheddar/mozzarella combo best but mozzarella alone is fine
  • 1 8 oz Tube Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
  • 1 T Butter melted
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 T Parsley freshly chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt omit if using salted butter

Instructions

  • Cut cheese sticks in half, crosswise. Place cheese sticks in freezer for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, remove cheese from freezer and preheat oven to 375.
  • Unroll crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Place cheese half at widest end of crescent and roll up. Be sure to tuck in all ends as you are rolling (so the cheese doesn't ooze out).
  • Stir together butter, garlic, parsley and salt.
  • Brush butter mixture over each roll and place on a parchment or Silpat lined baking sheet.
  • Bake 10 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Serve immediately.
