Glazed Pineapple and Sausage Skewers

About 10-15 minutes from start to finish to make these skewers, threaded with smoked sausage and pineapple. Only 5 ingredients needed.

Ingredients

  • 5 Links smoked sausage cut into thirds
  • 3 Cup pineapple chunks
  • 2 Tablespoon pineapple juice
  • ¼ Cup honey
  • Teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • If using wooden skewers, soak the skewers in water for an hour before using to avoid catching fire.
  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Thread sausage and pineapple on the skewers, alternating.
  • Place skewers on the grill and cook 3-4 minutes. Turn skewers over to cook other side.
  • Brush glaze on skewers and cook 4-6 minutes more, turning as needed and brushing on more glaze each time you turn skewer.
  • Serve with rice.
