- 1 Cup long grain rice
- 2 Cup vegetable broth
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 Teaspoon freshly chopped oregano
- 1 Teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary
- 1 Teaspoon freshly chopped thyme
- 1 Tablespoon lemon zest
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked
Optional
- 2 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Place broth in a saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil, stir in rice, salt, black pepper and garlic. Cover and reduce heat to simmer. Cook 20 minutes. Remove cover and stir in butter, herbs and lemon zest (and juice if using).
