Maple Cinnamon Latte

Hot brewed espresso (or coffee), sweet maple syrup, a little cinnamon, and creamy frothed milk combine for the perfect afternoon pick me up maple cinnamon latte!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Milk of choice Preferred whole milk or 2%
  • ¼ Cup Hot brewed espresso strong brewed coffee can be used in place
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple syrup
  • ¼ Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ Teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a mug, combine the hot espresso (or coffee), maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon. Give it a little stir, the heat from the coffee should dissolve the other ingredients.
  • Heat milk either on stove for 4 to 5 minutes just until almost to a boil or microwave about 40 seconds in a microwave-safe mug. Use whatever type of frother you have to froth the milk until a thick foam is created.
  • Slowly pour the milk into the prepared coffee mixture. Be sure to scoop out the foam that may remain in frothing vessel and scoop right on top of the latte. If desired, sprinkle with additional cinnamon and/or top with whipped cream.
