Pesto Alfredo Meatball Subs

A quick and easy dinner made with frozen meatballs, jarred sauces and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 16 Frozen Turkey Meatballs
  • 14 ounces Alfredo Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoon basil pesto prepared
  • 4 slices provolone cheese or mozzarella
  • 4 sub rolls

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 °F Cook meatballs according to package.
  • In a medium saucepan, stir together Alfredo sauce and pesto over medium/low heat, just until warmed through.
  • Spread some of the sauce in each roll. Place 4 meatballs in roll, top with more sauce. Cut each slice of provolone in half and place 2 halves on top of each sub to cover sub. Optional: Brush sides of roll with melted butter or melted garlic butter.
  • Place subs on baking sheet and cook in preheated oven, about 5 minutes, just until cheese is melted and roll is toasted. Serve warm.
