Sweet And Spicy Chicken Tenders

Not too spicy and not too sweet, the balance in these sweet and spicy chicken tenders is perfectly family friendly. Serve over rice with a green vegetable for a complete meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds boneless chicken tenders
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce a sweet variety, such as brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar light
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons chives chopped

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, sriracha, brown sugar, honey, salt and pepper. Pour marinade over chicken in a re-sealable gallon bag or bowl. Refrigerate 2-6 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Empty contents of bag into a baking dish and bake 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Top with chives before serving.
