    Sweet And Spicy Chicken Tenders

    Oven baked Sweet and Spicy Chicken Tenders is a delicious dinner idea. Quick and easy, this recipe balances out the spicy heat of sriracha and the sweetness of brown sugar and BBQ sauce.

    Pair this easy chicken recipe with rice or potatoes and some air fryer broccoli for an effortless meal!

    Get ready to add this recipe to your monthly meal rotation because it's just that good and that easy!  Even if you're not a huge fan of spice, don't worry, the sweet balances it out perfectly. 

    Ingredients

    • Chicken - Boneless Chicken Tenderloins (tenders)
    • BBQ Sauce
    • Sriracha
    • Brown Sugar
    • Honey
    • Salt & Pepper
    • Chives (optional)

    Instructions

    Whisk together the marinade ingredients and add to a re-sealable bag or bowl with chicken.

    Refrigerate chicken mixture for a few hours.

    After a few hours dump it in a baking dish and bake it.

    What is sriracha?

    Sriracha is a hot sauce / chili sauce made from a base of chili peppers and vinegar.

    How long should I marinate chicken tenders

    An hour to three hours is fine marinade time for this type of chicken recipe.

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 ½ pounds boneless chicken tenders
    • ½ cup BBQ sauce a sweet variety, such as brown sugar
    • 3 tablespoons sriracha
    • 2 tablespoons brown sugar light
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked
    • ½ teaspoons salt
    • 2 tablespoons chives chopped

    Instructions
     

    • In a small bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, sriracha, brown sugar, honey, salt and pepper. Pour marinade over chicken in a re-sealable gallon bag or bowl. Refrigerate 2-6 hours.
    • Preheat oven to 425.
    • Empty contents of bag into a baking dish and bake 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
    • Top with chives before serving.

      Don't get why people comment about how good a recipe "looks" without having made the recipe. Really is a waste of time for people looking for an actual review after having made the recipe. Whether you think it looks good or not does not really help.
