White Bean Dip

This White Bean Dip has few ingredients and comes together quickly.  A great dip or spread for cracker, bread or veggies.

Ingredients

  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 large garlic cloves minced
  • 1 15.5 oz can cannellini beans rinsed and drained
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 T dry Italian seasoning blend
  • 1 T water

Instructions

  • Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and Italian seasoning. Cook 1 minute. Stir in cannellini beans and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to coat in oil and seasonings.
    Cook 2-3 minutes more.
    Remove from heat.
  • Transfer bean mixture to food processor. Begin to process. Drizzle water in during mixing. Process until smooth or desired consistency. 
  • Transfer to bowl and refrigerate at least 1 hour prior to serving.
    Just prior to serving, top with a drizzle of olive oil if desired.
