    Jose Cuervo Iced Teagarita

Oh man, summer is here and it is H-O-T. Of course for us, the only rain we've had recently was over the 4th of July weekend. Our festivities were postponed to this past weekend. We hit the fireworks with the kids and then spent the next day by the pool. What better way to cool off than floating around in the pool and enjoying a nice cold, adult beverage?  Enter Jose Cuervo Iced Teagarita.

    Jose Cuervo Teagarita

Jose Cuervo Iced Teagarita was the perfect choice for our fun day in the pool because it's ready-to-serve.  You got that right, ready to pour straight out of the bottle over ice!  Okay, so what is it?  Well, it's the perfect combination of some of my favorites.  I'm a girl who loves a good classic lime margarita. Those geniuses over at Jose Cuervo managed to give my favorite lime margarita a cool new twist by combining Jose Cuervo Tequila, premium orange liqueur and of course, refreshing iced tea (19.9 Proof/9.95% ABV).

Iced Teagarita was launched this past May, but now that it is summertime you can expect to see it a lot more in your local liquor stores, so grab a bottle on your way to your next BBQ or party.   You can get it in two sizes, 1.75L ($19.99 MRP) and 750ml (12.99 MRP).

While Jose Cuervo Iced Teagarita is awesome straight from the bottle over ice, I decided to add some fresh fruit to the mix.  I used lemon and lime and put out some orange in case anyone was interested in an orange twist.  Because the kids weren't around, I was able to set up a make shift swim up bar for me and my husband.  I don't know why I haven't thought this up before, but it was perfect.  Our own little private getaway, right here in our backyard with a refreshing Iced Teagarita.

Unfortunately, I'm getting old and I can't drink anymore without falling asleep. But if I were still young enough to indulge, I absolutely would with these!
