Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt Sundaes - Sundae cups made less guilty by replacing ice cream with Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt.  Enjoy any time of day!

Over this past weekend, I promised Nora (my feisty 3 year old for those of you who are new here) that we were going to buy her something fun.  We've been indoors so long with this never ending winter that I wanted to get something new we could all do together.  While we were at Walmart looking for said project/toy we stopped at the new Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt Demo Station.  After seeing how much Nora enjoyed these yogurts I came up with a brilliant idea!  A light bulb moment if you will.

I told Nora that we could buy the Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurts and when we got them home we would make "ice cream" sundaes!  This got me out of trying to create an art project that I would no doubt fail at.  Plus, I didn't mind the thought of making these treats because Nora could use the protein (7 grams per 5.3 oz container) and while it is totally indulgent, we don't have to feel guilty about it because there is only 190-210 calories per container and there is less sugar than other yogurts.  The kids will totally think they're eating something wrong, but I will secretly know it's right!  Score one for Mom!

    Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Sundaes #MullerMoment #ad #cbias

When we got home we laid out all of our traditional "ice cream" sundae toppings and then I grabbed a few bananas and put out the Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt flavors: Raspberry Chocolate Chip, Vanilla Bean and Mint Chocolate Chip.  The perfect "ice cream" sundae station.

    Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Sundaes #MullerMoment #ad #cbias

The beauty of these "sundaes" is that you can really make them to your liking.  For Josh, (6 year old) he is more of a traditional kind of guy, so his was Vanilla Bean yogurt, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and bananas.  Nora, however, layered hers in this order:  Mint Chocolate Chip yogurt, chocolate sauce, Vanilla Bean yogurt, caramel sauce, Raspberry Chocolate Chip yogurt, Mixed Berry sauce, whipped cream, banana, chocolate syrup and of course the cherry on top!  You've got to love that kid.  I took a page from Nora's book because I had something similar to hers.

    Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Sundaes #MullerMoment #ad #cbias

This was awesome because the kids were able to indulge in the middle of the day and I had no guilt about it.  We had so much fun creating our sundae station and I'm sure the kids will be even more psyched when I let them have a Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt for breakfast.  Yep, dessert for breakfast!  I'm going to be the best Mom ever!

Oooh yum! I haven't seen those yogurts yet in the UK, but you sure have made them look tempting! I wonder how they would turn out churned in an ice cream maker to freeze them for the sunsdaes.... mmmmm! 🙂

Thanks Elizabeth. I actually thought about freezing them but decided to keep it easy since the kids were wanting them and I didn't think they'd go for me telling them they had to wait for them to freeze 🙂 But I bet it would be GREAT!

I love frozen yoghurt, there's a brand here that have thick swirls of sauce within the yoghurt, churns really well. Perfect for sundaes.

Thanks for visiting. I purchased my yogurts at Walmart. I'm sure it's in other stores. I don't work for Mueller but I was able to locate a contact form on their website. Perhaps you could get the info that way? Here is the link: https://www.muller.co.uk/contact/mueller-yogurt-desserts.html
