❓FAQ
Mostly for balance of flavor. Apple cider is already sweet, so the sweet cider balances perfectly with a dry champagne. Same goes for a traditional mimosa with sweet orange juice.
It is not recommended to pour the champagne ahead of time. The bubbles will likely go flat. Instead, I'd recommend, prepping any garnishes or rims you might be using.
To keep the mimosa fizzy, pour the champagne right when serving. Keep the bottle of champagne corked until ready to use and try to use a stopper in between pours if not using right away.
You can. Simply use a 1:1 ratio of champagne to apple cider. Be sure to combine ingredients right before you'll need to avoid losing bubbles. It is better to make single servings but the batch can be done if needed.
