You may think apple cider is only for fall but I love cider in the winter too! If you need some summer mocktail ideas, be sure to check out the collection of I put together of 20 Summer Mocktails!

This mocktail was inspired by my Apple Cider Mimosa. Once I realized how versatile apple cider could be, I knew it could be leveled up into a mocktail.

    📝Ingredients

    • Apple Cider
    • Orange juice - fresh is best but bottled will do in a pinch
    • Lime juice - again, freshly squeezed is best
    • Honey or Maple syrup - I prefer honey because good maple syrup is expensive but use whichever you have on hand or prefer
    • Ginger beer
    • Apple slices - for garnish, slice them thin. Any variety is fine.

    See recipe card for quantities.

    🔪Instructions

It is so easy to put this recipe together; it comes together in about five minutes, tops!

    1. Step 1: Fill a tall glass with ice and set it aside.
    1. Step 2: Use either a cocktail shaker or a large pitcher to combine cider, orange juice, lime juice, honey and cinnamon.
    1. Step 3: Pour mixture into glass prepared with ice.
    1. Step 4: Top with ginger beer and garnish with the apple slices. Serve.

Hint: When mixing cocktails or mocktails, I prefer a stainless steel shaker like this one sold on Amazon.

    💬Top Tip

Add the ginger beer just before drinking. Because ginger beer is fizzy, you don't want to add that too far in advance or you'll lose the fizz.

    ❓FAQ

Can I batch prepare apple cider mocktails?

Yes, simply double, triple or quadruple the ingredients. Prepare everything except adding the ginger beer. Pour the ginger beer into each serving as you serve it.
