Last week I introduced you guys to Star Market's MyMixx, My Savings program. If you missed the intro you can find it here, along with a yummy recipe for Pork Tenderloin with Pomegranate Salsa. Since I posted the introduction, I have had a chance to return to Star Market and use the MyMixx program again.
One great feature of MyMixx that I want to mention is the shopping list. For me, I have to have a list when I shop, or I waste money. Don't get me wrong, I still make some spontaneous purchases, but there are certain items that I have to get for my meals during the week, and a list is crucial for that to happen.
To use the shopping list, first open your Star Market app, tap MyMixx and then tap Shopping List (photo above). Once you are in the shopping list you can add items and place them into categories so your list stays nice and organized while you're shopping. I like to check off each item as I place it in my cart so I don't lose track of anything.
The coupons that you clip will automatically be added to your shopping list, so you don't have to worry about adding things in two places.
As I mentioned last week, check out is a breeze by entering you phone number at the checkout pin pad and just watch the savings come right off.

I think that integrating the coupons to the list is a fantastic idea! I am that person that struggles at checkout with a pile of coupons that may or may not be able to use that day. This would definitely help me out!

This sounds neat! I like that the coupons are automatically added to my account, because I am super forgetful and would probably miss out on such great deals while grocery shopping! Definitely gotta try MyMixx!
