Can you guys tell that I'm on a total Asian kick lately? I don't usually share 2 Asian recipes in the same week, but this Sesame Noodle Bowl is so quick and easy that it's perfect for a busy summer day.
Are you ready for a ridiculously easy meal?
The key to making things easy here, is to use precooked chicken. Now, I know a lot of you are turned off by some of those precooked chicken products you can buy in the store (think Perdue Short Cuts etc). Here's the thing, just because a recipe says use "precooked chicken", it doesn't mean it has to come from a package. When you're grilling chicken at home, it's always best to grill extra and use it in other recipes. It's cheaper to buy in bulk anyway, so why not save yourself a few bucks and batch cook some chicken. You can freeze it and then defrost it when you're ready to use it, and it's good to go!
This Sesame Noodle Bowl might be sounding a little familiar to you. I recently re-shared my recipe for a Sesame Chicken Couscous Bowl on Facebook. Don't worry it's not the same recipe, just renamed, but they do share one very important thing in common, and that is that a ton of flavor is developed in a small amount of time. Again, both recipes use pre-cooked chicken, so the ONLY cooking you do here is the noodles. How great is that?
I'm going to give you the same advice I gave you yesterday, when I shared my Thai Grilled Chicken , add your chili garlic paste in small amounts and taste for heat. It's an awesome product, but if you get too heavy handed the heat can be too much.

Question: Do you pre cook your own chicken or do you buy it already cooked and packaged?

Thanks for this awesome recipe! I love Asian recipes and this one looks new and exciting.
I don't use precooked chicken, but a boneless, skinless chicken breast can be diced and stir fried in some soy sauce and olive oil in 10 minutes.
I'm pinning and Google+-ing this. Thanks.
