This Spinach Dip Christmas Tree Appetizer is both delicious and festive!
Is it even a holiday if you don't find a warm and cheesy spinach dip on the appetizer table? I don't think so!
This spinach artichoke dip is many things besides just a dip for chips. This holiday snack is a pull-apart appetizer and even more than that, it is a cheesy dip-stuffed puff pastry in the shape of a Christmas Tree!
A quick note. I know that this recipe has artichokes in it but I continue to refer to it as "spinach dip". It is just habit. I know most call it Spinach-Artichoke Dip. So, to avoid confusion, just know I'll go back and forth. That's how I roll.

Wondering just how to make a Christmas Tree Appetizer? Well good, because I'm going to teach you how to make this easy appetizer.
Here's the thing, a lot of the Stuffed Christmas Tree Appetizers out there on Pinterest involve twisting and pinching the dough just right. If it isn't done properly, the whole thing can ooze out.
As you know by now, I am not a patient cook. I prefer a good shortcut when and if it doesn't take away from the taste of the recipe.
That being said, my shortcut today is instead of twisting all the dough into the perfect tree shape, I'm simply slicing into rounds and arranging them on a baking sheet in the shape of a tree.
Easy peasy, just my style.
