Thank you to Nestle Toll House for sponsoring today's post and inspiring me to try the new DelightFulls Filled Baking Morsels!

Caramel Gingerbread Blondies featuring Nestle Toll House DelightFulls - A fun new twist on classic gingerbread for the holiday season.

Caramel Gingerbread Blondies featuring Nestle Toll House DelightFulls

I can't even believe the holidays are already upon us.  This time of year always sneaks up on me, I don't know why I am surprised each year.  I know most people love the gift giving and the holiday card sending and I do too, but that's not my favorite part of the holidays.  My favorite thing this time of year is creating and carrying on traditions with my kids.

My son, Josh, who will be 6 in January, already knows that come Christmas Eve, he and I will be baking something delicious to leave out for Santa.  I've been doing this with him since he was only one and he loves it.  My daughter, Nora, well, she isn't quite into it yet, but we'll get her on board soon enough.

Caramel Gingerbread Blondies featuring Nestle Toll House DelightFulls

We don't always make the same thing.  In fact, we have fun, deciding what to make and it's not only cookies.  This year, we are trying out some fun holiday recipes using the new Toll House Filled Morsels, DelightFulls.

I wanted to use gingerbread, because nothing says it's holiday time like some gingerbread, but I just don't have the patience time to decorate those cute little men. Who says Santa only wants cookies? Not me! I decided that making a gingerbread blondie was the way to go for the gingerbread taste and what a great flavor twist it would be to add Nestle Toll House DelightFulls Milk Chocolate Morsels with Caramel Filling.  Are you with me yet?

Caramel Gingerbread Blondies featuring Nestle Toll House DelightFulls

These Caramel Gingerbread Blondies come together pretty easily and you can adjust the amount of molasses to suit your taste.  I'd say anywhere from ¼ Cup to ½ C is good.  I went with ⅓ Cup.

All you have to do is cream together your wet ingredients.  Mix together your dry ingredients and then stir them together and bake them.  Make sure they cool completely before you attempt to cut them.  I know, it will be hard because you'll want to dig right in, but have some patience.

While I was out purchasing my Milk Chocolate Morsels with Caramel Filling, I was excited to see the other varieties available:

    • Dark Chocolate Morsels with Cherry Filling
    • Dark Chocolate Morsels with Mint Filling
    • Milk Chocolate Morsels with Peanut Butter Filling
    • Milk Chocolate Morsels with Caramel Filling

In addition to the way I have used Nestle Toll House DelightFulls in my recipe, you can also chop them, cut them in half and use them whole to add a great twist to any of your holiday baking projects (and non holiday baking projects as well)!  Okay, we may have been guilty of popping them right in our mouths as we were mixing, that's okay too!

Head over to the Nestle Toll House website to see more DelightFulls recipes and get some inspiration to add new twists to your holiday baking this season.
