Pizza night with a twist! Skip the fussy pizza dough and make your next summer pizza night a Grilled Naan Pizza Night!

If you are not familiar with Naan, it is sort of like a flatbread but fluffier and chewier and so much better!

Naan originates from India. Traditionally, naan is prepared in a clay oven. But lucky for us, we can now just buy it at just about any grocery store!

Naan is sturdy which makes it the perfect base for a grilled pizza. You can pile the toppings on and it will hold up!

Once you get the method down on how to grill pizza, you can change up the toppings to just about anything.

If your grill is unavailable then try this recipe for Naan Air Fryer Pizza. You know your girl loves her air fryer!

Because Naan isn't huge like a traditional pizza crust, you can customize each naan pizza to suit everyone's tastes.

My family has two favorites; margherita style pizza and pesto pizza.

Grilled Naan Pizza makes a great simple meal but you can also cut into smaller pieces and serve as an appetizer!

Two prepared naan pizzas The one at the bottom has pesto and mozzarella and the one above it is margherita style.

For those of you who might need to avoid nuts, try my nut-free pesto!

The best tip I can give you when making grilled naan pizza or any grilled pizza for that matter is to have all your ingredients prepped and ready to go before you put anything on that grill.

The process moves fast and you won't want to stop and chop something while the naan bread is grilling.

Two naan pizzas on a grill. To the left of the grill is a shelf with cheese, jarred tomatoes and fresh basil.

I mentioned that Naan is now available in just about every grocery store. But your girl loves a good deal. I have found the best deal is to buy in bulk at BJ's Wholesale. Naan freezes great so whenever I make a trip there, I stock up.

If you aren't a BJ's member yet and want to join, use my referral code link.

We do Pizza Party Fridays almost every week with naan pizzas. My kids love making their own pizzas, and I love how crispy the naan gets. Delicious!!
